These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gooido platform, including our website, AI-powered services, booking tools, communication channels and related services.
Gooido is operated by Gooido Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Gooido", "we", "us" or "our").
By accessing or using Gooido, submitting a booking request, making a purchase or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Gooido Does
Gooido is a travel technology and distribution platform that connects travelers with travel products, services and experiences.
Through Gooido, travelers may discover, evaluate, request, book or purchase travel-related products and services, including tours, activities, attractions, transportation, accommodation, dining experiences and other travel services.
Gooido may also make its platform available through creators, hotels, travel advisors, travel agencies, communities and other distribution partners.
2. Our Role
Depending on the product or service, Gooido may act as a technology platform, booking facilitator, distributor, reseller or merchant of record.
The specific commercial and booking structure may vary depending on the relevant Supplier, Partner and service.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the underlying travel service itself is provided by an independent third-party Supplier and not by Gooido.
3. Third-Party Travel Providers
Tours, attractions, transfers, accommodation, dining experiences and other travel services offered through Gooido may be operated by independent third-party providers ("Suppliers").
Suppliers are responsible for the operation, safety, quality, availability and delivery of their services.
Gooido does not own, operate or control a Supplier's business merely because its products or services are made available through Gooido.
Supplier-specific terms, restrictions and conditions may also apply to a booking.
4. Distribution Partners
Gooido may be accessed through creators, hotels, travel advisors, travel agencies, communities and other partners ("Partners").
A Partner may recommend, promote or provide access to products and services available through Gooido and may receive compensation in connection with activity or transactions generated through that Partner.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a Partner does not have authority to make commitments, guarantees or representations on behalf of Gooido or any Supplier.
5. Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence is an important part of the Gooido platform.
AI technologies may be used to understand requests, provide travel information, recommend destinations and experiences, assist users in finding suitable products, support booking processes and provide customer assistance.
AI-generated information may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated.
Users should independently verify information that is material to their travel decisions, particularly information relating to visas, immigration, health, safety, weather, transportation schedules, opening hours, legal requirements and other time-sensitive matters.
AI-generated recommendations do not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial or safety advice.
6. Human Support
Where appropriate, conversations may be transferred or escalated from automated systems to members of Gooido's support team or to relevant Suppliers or Partners.
Information already provided during the conversation may be made available to the person handling the request in order to provide continuity of service.
7. Booking Requests and Confirmations
Displaying a travel product or submitting a booking request does not necessarily mean that a reservation has been confirmed.
A booking is confirmed only when a confirmation is issued through Gooido or by the relevant Supplier, as applicable.
Availability, schedules, inclusions and prices may change until confirmation.
You are responsible for reviewing the booking confirmation and promptly notifying us of any material error.
8. Pricing
Prices displayed through Gooido may be supplied by Gooido, Suppliers, Partners or other travel distribution systems.
Unless otherwise stated, the price displayed at the time of final checkout or booking confirmation is the applicable price.
Prices may vary based on availability, dates, number of travelers, exchange rates, taxes, fees, Supplier pricing or other factors.
Obvious pricing or technical errors do not create an obligation to supply a product at an incorrect price. If such an error occurs after payment, Gooido may cancel the affected booking and issue an appropriate refund.
9. Payments
Depending on the service, payment may be collected by Gooido, a Supplier or an authorized payment service provider.
Where Gooido collects payment, payments may be processed through third-party payment processors.
You agree to provide accurate and authorized payment information.
Prices may be charged in the currency displayed at checkout. Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may impose currency conversion charges or other fees for which Gooido is not responsible.
10. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds
Cancellation, amendment, no-show and refund conditions vary between products and Suppliers.
The applicable conditions will generally be those disclosed during the booking process or provided with the booking confirmation.
By completing a booking, you agree to the cancellation and refund conditions applicable to that booking.
Where Gooido acts as a facilitator or distributor for a Supplier, Gooido may assist with cancellation or refund requests but cannot guarantee an outcome that is inconsistent with the applicable Supplier terms.
Where Gooido is legally responsible for providing a refund, we will process the refund in accordance with applicable law and the relevant booking conditions.
11. Traveler Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information and ensuring that traveler details match any identification or travel documents required for the relevant service.
You are also responsible for arriving at the correct meeting or departure point at the required time, reviewing booking requirements and restrictions and determining whether an activity is appropriate for you and other travelers in your booking.
You must comply with applicable laws, Supplier instructions and any safety or operational requirements relating to the booked service.
You are responsible for obtaining any passports, visas, travel insurance, permits or other documentation required for your travel.
Failure to comply with Supplier requirements may result in cancellation or refusal of service without a refund where permitted by applicable law.
12. Travel Risks
Travel inherently involves risks, including transportation delays, weather conditions, physical activities, illness, accidents and changes in local circumstances.
Certain activities may involve elevated physical or safety risks.
You are responsible for considering your own circumstances before participating in any travel activity and for complying with safety instructions provided by the relevant Supplier.
Nothing in these Terms limits any responsibility that Gooido cannot legally exclude.
13. Prohibited Use
You may not use Gooido for unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purposes.
You may not make false or fraudulent bookings, interfere with the operation or security of the platform, attempt unauthorized access to Gooido systems, impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
You may not scrape, reproduce or commercially exploit platform content or data without authorization, or use Gooido in any manner that infringes the rights of Gooido, Suppliers, Partners or other users.
We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe the platform is being misused.
14. Intellectual Property
The Gooido platform, technology, software, branding, trademarks, logos, interface, databases, documentation, proprietary workflows and original Gooido content are protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for intellectual property owned by Suppliers, Partners, licensors or other third parties, all rights in the Gooido platform are owned by or licensed to Gooido Inc.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Gooido intellectual property to any user.
You may use Gooido only for its intended personal or business purpose and may not reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit Gooido technology or proprietary content except with our written authorization.
15. Third-Party Content and Links
Gooido may display information, images, descriptions, reviews, links or other content originating from Suppliers or other third parties.
Gooido does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of third-party content and is not responsible for third-party websites or services that operate independently from Gooido.
16. Platform Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may modify, update, restrict, suspend or discontinue parts of the platform where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, regulatory compliance, commercial reasons or service improvements.
17. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gooido is provided on an "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that all information, recommendations, availability, Supplier content or AI-generated responses will always be complete, accurate or current.
Nothing in this section limits statutory rights that cannot legally be waived or excluded.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gooido Inc. and its directors, officers, employees and representatives shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages arising from or related to the use of Gooido.
To the extent Gooido acts solely as an intermediary, facilitator or distributor of a third-party travel service, Gooido is not responsible for acts, omissions, accidents, delays, cancellations, service failures or other conduct of the independent Supplier providing that service.
Gooido shall also not be responsible for losses caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, transportation disruption, labor disputes, telecommunications failures, civil unrest or other force majeure events.
These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
19. Privacy
Your use of Gooido is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
By using Gooido, you acknowledge that personal information may be collected, used, stored and shared as described in the Privacy Policy, including where reasonably necessary to process bookings, provide customer support or communicate with Suppliers and Partners.
20. Cookies
Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy.
Where required by applicable law, Gooido will request consent before activating non-essential cookies or similar technologies.
21. Electronic Communications
By using Gooido, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically in connection with your requests, bookings and use of the platform, including by email, messaging applications or other communication channels you provide to us.
Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business model, technology or legal requirements.
The current version will be published on this page together with its effective date.
Changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
23. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
24. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to them shall, to the extent permitted by applicable law, be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of any mandatory protection provided by the laws that apply to that consumer and that cannot legally be waived by contract.
